Voith Unit Rebuild & Resurface
Protection form Sea Water Erosion & Corrosion
The Voith unit had become badly corroded on a tugboat over the recent years.
​
The surfaces were abrasive blast cleaned to Sa2 1/2, micron profile and thoroughly degreased to remove all possible contaminates
The surfaces were rebuilt using UPS 105 EG Metal Repair Paste and then relined with 2 coats of UPS 210 CR Efficiency Ceramic
