Application UPS 210 CR to heat exchange plate C-754 at the oil refinery

 

APPICATION OF SUPER LOW FRICTION TR-210 TO
HEAT EXCHANGER PLATE C-754 AT THE
OIL REFINERY – ENAP BIO BIO, CHILE

 


On July 29th 2013, Super Low Friction Efficiency Coating UPS 210 CR Efficiency Fluid Ceramic, resistance to erosion/corrosion

- Unique Polymer Systems LTD  applied to the tubular bundle plate

which shows highly corrosive areas, mainly where the plate and each of the tubes joint

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At sand workshop, exudation and then sandblasting

of the surface to coat takes place

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After sandblasting has finished, the sand is removed by compressed air and a
volatile chemical liquid product is applied, a surface de-greaser cleaner. Once the surface
is completely dry, the application of epoxy coating is carried out (Picture 4).
